There's one scene in The Shadow where the Hat Man tries to kill a guy just because Ella fucked him.

There's a reason I wrote that...

During one of my episodes of sleep paralysis, I hallucinated the Hat Man trying to permanently eliminate my boyfriend.

I had never experienced a sleep paralysis hallucination quite like that before...

He was sick at the time, and his breathing sounded a little off. I assume that likely triggered the hallucination. My brain simply turned what I was hearing into the hallucination in a pretty crazy way.

But then I thought... maybe he's just jealous!

And then I gave that problem to Ella...

She will never have a normal relationship again.
